I was asked to perform at the Heart of Miss Hampton Roads Fundraiser Pageant to raise money for their scholarship fund. Here I am performing!

I sang many songs at the fundraiser to help keep the crowd interested and putting money into the collection bucket!

Here I am singing at the US Marines Toys for Tots concert to collect toys for needy children. You can see all of the toys spread all around me. It was a very successful event with all the seats filled!

Entertaining for such a worthy cause was a blast & very meaningful & rewarding to me!

Pictured with other local area titleholders at the home of a family we adopted through Virginia Beach Social Services. We all collaborated and brought toys, clothes and other gifts to a single mother and her three young children.

I really enjoyed giving to this family. I was actually surprised at how much it touched me to be a part of it!

Here I am pictured with two of the little girls that were part of the family we adopted.

We also "adopted" an elderly disabled lady and supplied her with everything she needed in a food basket. This was also a collective effort among many people. I'm pictured with Ms. Parsons and Anessa Zivic, Little Miss Hampton Roads.

Jordan was all geared up and ready to go for the Jump Rope for Heart event. It was a educational fundraiser put on by the American Heart Association.

I performed at the Miss Coastal Virginia Princess Party. The Princesses seemed to enjoy it when I sang.

I received a warn round of applause from the crowd at the Miss Coastal VA Princess Party for singing. It was fun!

In this picture I'm singing the National Anthem to kick off the Miss Coastal Virginia 2009 Teen, Preteen, Little & Mini pageant at the Barry Robinson Theatre.

In this picture, Casey Shepard, Miss WOPT & I are at the Sentara Nursing Home in Chesapeake, performing, visiting and painting nails for the residents.

I am preparing to sing for the residents as music is a form of therapy & enjoyment.

I arranged for Miss VA 2008, Tara Wheeler, to speak on Right Decisions Right Now at my school. I was her hostess that morning. RDRN is very important because a positive role model expresses to children the importance of staying away from smoking, alcohol and drugs. It also just stresses making good choices even if they're not the popular ones.

Here I am visiting with a couple of ladies at the Windermere Nursing Home in VA Beach.

This gentleman served in the US Navy for many years and I enjoyed our visit.

The people at the nursing home were very happy to have visitors and it made me feel great!
